compliant balustrade and pool fencing applications. Recognising its role in modern construction,
Sentrel takes responsibility for how it is sourced, used and managed.
Our manufacturing facility operates on 100% solar power, supported by a 65 kW solar system with
battery storage, reducing reliance on grid energy.
Material efficiency is built into our production process. All aluminium offcuts are recycled, minimising
waste and unnecessary material loss.
Aluminium is infinitely recyclable without loss of strength or quality. Recycling aluminium requires
significantly less energy and results in substantially lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to
primary aluminium production from raw ore.
All Sentrel aluminium products are finished using a high-quality powder coating process, selected for
both durability and environmental performance.
Powder coating is applied electrostatically as a dry powder and cured to form a hard, long-lasting
finish resistant to chipping, scratching, corrosion, weathering and fading.
The process contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), produces no harmful solvents or
airborne pollutants, and poses no known short- or long-term health risks to workers. Overspray can
be collected and reused, reducing waste and improving material efficiency.
Stainless steel is the second primary material used in Sentrel systems, selected for its strength,
corrosion resistance and long-term performance in outdoor environments.
It is widely recognised as a highly recyclable material, with production incorporating substantial levels
of recycled content. Due to its stability and low toxicity, stainless steel does not pose a risk to soil or
groundwater at end of life.
